"I is what I is"

Mouthy, fickle, stubborn and ungrateful; CJ or ‘SeeJ’ (as he likes to spray it on the walls of Red Park City) is, on the face of it, a typically difficult, teenage lad. However, with Carl it runs a bit deeper. Whether it’s trouble that follows boy or vice versa the two certainly seem inextricably linked. He has some serious issues with authority, perhaps stemming from a lack of a father figure, and only listens to those whom he feels have given him the respec' he deserves. One person who can keep him under control is his mother, Tina, who rules with an iron-fist but she can’t watch over him 24/7.

Everyone (except SeeJ!) hopes that Carl’s wayward behaviour is just a phase he’ll grow out of and, to his credit, there are occasional glimpses of a “good-guy trying to get out”, but for now he remains teetering on the edge of the dark-side.
