Fiona is a hard-nosed businesswoman unafraid to speak her mind. However, in private she harbours great insecurity and loneliness. Her beloved father died when she was just five years old and her mother, now living in Hong Kong, shows little or no interest in Fiona’s wellbeing.

Miss Montgomery understands the power of image. Having graduated from Cambridge in Marketing and Business Administration she spent several years working for the London’s top advertising firms. It was whilst working on a campaign for ‘Springer’s Chicken’ that she first met Sir Bernard, and it wasn’t long before Red Park City Football Club was under discussion.

Bernie saw the skills Fiona could bring to the club and offered her the option to buy-in. Fiona was more than interested and used money left to her by her father to purchase the necessary shares. After five happy years on the board a sudden crisis of conscience over the death of defender Carlos Cantera, her former lover, saw Fiona quit the club. She sold-up and resigned only to be coaxed back a year later to the specially created full-time position of Marketing Manager.
