"He's gotta get through this"

Born in San Francisco, Hank discovered soccer as a young boy whilst holidaying in the UK with his father. The Beautiful Game made such an impression that he immediately enrolled on a training programme when he returned to The States and vowed to play for his country at the 2002 World Cup in South Korea/Japan. Incredibly he made the squad but his dreams were cruelly dashed by a nasty hamstring injury, picked up during the last pre-competition friendly.

Hank was thrilled when Red Park City asked him to come and play in the English Premiership, at the beginning of the 2006/07 season, but fate delivered yet another harsh blow. Just days before Junior was due to fly to the UK his father, Hank Senior, was tragically killed. The freak roadside accident, which happened yards from Junior, was to have a marked psychological effect on the midfielder.

After an understandably erratic start at RPC things finally seem to be settling down for the young American and a budding romance with Fiona Montgomery is doing wonders for his confidence.
